im watching you fade away
im watching you walk away
looking at your photograph
as it starts tgo burn away
memorimes holding me down
not able to stand up
you were my first true love
first one to make me smile
first one to say i love you
and ur the one i let slip away
trying to get you back
as i wish i said goodbye
all but memories
love has burned away
you thought there was none
i cry in my sleep
i cry in my dreams
wanting this so bad
as i notice it never ends
looking out the backdoor
wondering what im doing
wasting my love on you
you used to make me laugh
you used to make me smile
now all you can do is make me tremble
as i walk away
its over now
i must move on
knowing how hard this is
you just sit there and smile
as i start to cry
your face becomes a blurr
wanting you to shed a tear
and not just giggle and smile.
