Fitting In
I want to fit in,
Desperately so.
I want to fit in,
But I don't know how.
I lock myself inside,
I secretely cry.
I pretend I don't care,
On the outside.
It's hard for me,
To just be me.
It's hard to be,
Anyone but me.
So what do I do,
And who do I choose?
Where should I go?
How should I know?
When I am alone,
I am lonely but happy,
So leave me alone,
I'm happy being lonely.
