Fix Me Jesus Poem by Lisa Nichols

Fix Me Jesus

I don't pray as much as I should
I can do better if only I would
There's a darkness inside me
It grows everyday
I need your help Lord
To make it go away
My heart is broken
Which I'm sure you see
Fix me Jesus, fix me

My thoughts overflow with things unsaid
And silence feels my days up with dread
My cuts run deep they will not heal
Consumed with pain lord it's all I feel
Chained to sorrow I can't break free
Fix me Jesus, fix me

Take these tears that roll down my cheek
Give me strength Lord for I have fallen weak
Free me from these burdens I bare
Restore my faith I'm drowning in despair
So I come to you on bended knees
Fix me Jesus, fix me
