Flagon Poem by Christopher Tye

Flagon

Flagon

Flagons of mead in grand old halls,
Lashings of ale in overflowing flagons,
A good old word capturing a period of history,
Gallons of ale consumed in old taverns,
Olde English pubs serving everything in flagons,
Nobles and peasants all drinking from flagons.
