Flames In The Night - Poem by Ema Scott
An adult
inside a child
A lady inside a girl
A mind full of wisdom
Insted of shiny pearls
A barrel of unanswered questions
In a place that shouldn't have been found
A bitterness in her heart
Growing bigger by the pound
Her soul stoped wishing
When her spirit stoped fighting
Her eyes stoped gleaming
At the last stroke of lighting.
