Flamingo Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

Flamingo

I stopped by a river
to watch the flamingos rain
and there in the golden river
the birds playfully danced and ate.

the flamingos flocked in annoyance
when i got closer
but soon they left me alone
and got busy in their chores

i waited till sunset
there in the golden river
to hear them say good-bye to me,
my beloved flamingos.
