Flayed One Poem by Patrick Tincher

Flayed One

Lamb led to slaughter
Mild meek oppressed
Lash after lash stripping flesh from His back
Not a curse was uttered
No oath was heard
As lash after lash stripped flesh from His back
You dare curse the Name of the Living God
Your audacity makes me sick
Life's only perfect sacrifice
The Flayed One
