Fleeting joys arrive like sudden spring,
They bloom in laughter, touch the heart, then fade;
A fragile light on which our hopes take wing,
Yet leave behind the warmth they softly made.
They dance through days unburdened by their end,
Unaware how brief their stay must be;
No vow can ask such moments to extend,
They live by grace, not by necessity.
Yet fleeting joys are not devoid of worth,
Their brevity gives meaning to their shine;
They teach us how to treasure what gives birth
To love that lives beyond the bounds of time.
So let them come, and let them also go—
Fleeting joys teach us what we need to know.
