Flight - Poem by JeanPierre Barakat

And I fly
In early surrender
Towards loving hands
And warm hearts

I swallow
The breath of life
As if it were the last
And I make it mine

My soul then
Sails in oblivion
And I forget the pain
Of fears and desire

To be one
At last
with The One
