Flowers And Threads Poem by Raz Fiqar

Flowers And Threads

The flower is blooming—
irradiated by the light—
bringing hope and whispering life into the air,
each petal unfolding like a quiet promise
that even after the longest winter,
warmth will always return.

Yet in the hush between heartbeats,
some things are not meant to slip away.
Tethered by unseen threads,
pulled by a weight the soul cannot name,
one moves between the calm and the breaking—
and the choice is never spoken aloud.

One day the threads will find the rest,
no pulling at once what they held,
the wind will pass without catching,
carrying colour it does not name—
and something gentle will remain.
