Flowers Of Love Poem by Arowolo Rokeeb Eniola

Flowers Of Love

The longings of lilies of love on my lips
My heart is sowed with sizzling songs
Songs of sonorous sounds of affection
Affection for my friends full with fond
My soul sheds sweet sinews for their sight

The longings of hues of hibiscus of hope
My heart is held with hallowed hope
Hopes for happy hands of sages
Sages to scribble on my soul swings
Swinging birches of solemn seedlings

The longings of rosy roses of rage
My heart is ripped with ringing rage
Rage of sages of ages for Justice
To tread with talks of tides of oasis
And Equity to creep in corner of souls

If I were to proclaim like Olivia
Or speak of my affection like Bassanio
Or show my heart to you like Desdemona
And in eventide I was murdered by Othello
They shall fail to show and show
My sprouting love like flowers-
To you fiery friends of fearlessness
