Flowing Rivers Poem by Linda ErikssonBique

Flowing Rivers

A river flows deep inside of me.
Circling round and round and round.

Dimished with self doubt, and questions of how.
Unable to break through its icy cold shell.

Small smiles, hopes and dreams pushing through.
Rising up the question of which side will rule?

People can't stop the river from flowing,
Not one wish, note or letter from one day showing,
all the words, thoughts, and wishes left unsaid

One day the river will flow though, showing it's grace to the outer world
Leaving behind what once had hidden the dreams from a girl.
