shadows of the unknown fleeting into abyss…
sighing softly to the erratic tempo of the heartbeat…
sweet nothings lay down to rest…

how wonderful this light feeling of gaiety…
how uplifting this surge of passion in veins does melt…
the tender promise of something wondrous….
awaits the fluttering butterfly that seeks to escape …..

escape into the whirlpool of emotions ….
flitting about in joy, laughter and tears…
merging into the unknown, fearing nought the infinite….
living in seconds, loving in minutes, dying in hours….

the timeless beauty of the minute…
the seamless nature of the moment…
drawn together in the magic of the brief interlude…
surrended by the butterfly….
locked in the fingers of ecstasy …..
