Fly Away Poem by Sierra Evans

Fly Away

Tonight I fly; Away from my pain and into your arms.
Tonight, I long for your deep kiss, your body close to mine.
Tonight I die, and my soul is yours.
And yet, you fall out of love with me.
Once again, you leave me.
Here, grounded, I can no longer fly, you don't believe in me.
My touch has lost its' feeling, my lips have lost their taste of love and passion.
Tonight you've stolen the light in my eyes,
tonight you fly away, to find another to love.
Take my wings, show me where you fall.
Still, I see you in my dreams.
Tonight,
I fly away.
