Fly Away Poem by Michelle Cook

Fly Away

light of hope
in the dark
true beauty
i wear the mark
always in motion
nowhere to park
crawling slowly
insipid, marred
been through hell
see the scars
silk cocoon
feels like bars
reach for heaven
touch the stars
cant stop now
ive come this far
nothing to do
nothing to say
butterfly
spread your wings
and fly, fly away
