Fly Away Poem by Diane Meyer

Fly Away

Rating: 2.5

In a wide and open sky
no worries,
or cares,
just shoot for the stars
so high above you.

A stroke of
serendipity,
in your plain, unforgiving
life
and as you fly
through the open kingdom of air
swirling,
twirling,
dipping,
spiraling.

Awe and joy
fill your empty heart
and
what was once cold,
is now filled with warmth.
like
A fire started in
a frozen land of ice.

So fly away from your troubles,
way into the clouds,
away to a different world.
