Hearts soft and calm as wool
This makes them call us fools Though we be quite and cool
knows not them that we're tools

Fools for Christ, this We be
Salvation gift announce by we
Though suffer we years to come But our pains will wane at home

Fools for Christ, we they slice
Love for them in heart arise
Though they cut us and we bleed
Yet their hearts to Christ we lead

Fools for Christ, these are we
we have Christ all day to fee
They who walk the darker way Have devils all nights to pay

Fools for Christ, lets be call
And the worlds not see us tall
If today this be our name
Glad! someday will be our fame
