Fools (Part 2) Poem by Robert Katuli

Fools (Part 2)

I told you you are a fool
When you beheaded innocent victims with your tool
And with their decapitated bodies what did you do?
Drink you the blood for your cup is now full!

You fool, I warned you against shedding innocent blood
But with your victims shackled you defiantly before cameras posed whilst cowardly clad
And the drums that carried all the blood, did they not flood?
Oh, dull butcher, you never knew whenever you paraded your hostages how their loved ones' hearts thud!

Foolish killer, I also predicted you would soon be outfought
Into hiding like all fools you went, so you would not be caught
Beyond the curtain of time what harvest are you now reaping since you were brought to a halt?
How I wish you were by the Lamb's Blood bought!

Before your Maker are you now shamefacedly kneeling?
The full weight of guilt are you now feeling?
With the fact that there's no more grace that other side of life how are you dealing?
And that you'd indeed foolishly lived your under the sun life are you now seeing?
