For A Thousand Years (Sonnet #251) Poem by Tina Baaklini

For A Thousand Years (Sonnet #251)

I'm never myself except when I'm with you,
Your love wraps me with tender hues
I feel an ocean of love that fills me through,
And all I want for eternity is you.

Since the start, forever is meant for us.
You're the bliss I can't thank the sky enough.
Awakened, healed, blossomed I am as a lotus,
I owe that to your devotion, O sweet love!

I want to be yours for a thousand years
And give you all the love my soul can give.
I feel I can conquer the world with you near.
You're the rock I rely upon that never drifts.

No place outweighs the comfort of your heart,
Not even heaven, nor its sky and stars.
