For All You Do Poem by Mary Rodriguez

For All You Do

Some people by their mere presence make everything alright
Their beautiful soul radiates and shines so bright
You're that person; amazing in so many ways
I'm so proud of the things you do; each and every day
Inner strength, determination and fortitude; from you abound
You inspire so many people and have changed lives around
You've been given a gift; to help those in need
A brilliant doctor that follows your creed
You give everything to those in need; even sacrifice your time
Compassion is your compass; it's something you don't have to find
Your confidence and calmness; put patients fears at bay
Eloquence flows from you; with the things you say
You teach people how to be healthy and strong
If only there was a way to teach people how to get along
Pressures of life weigh on your heart and bring you down
In those moments let my love be your shelter; I won't let you drown
Dreams are just dreams; until they come true
My dreams all came true since the day I met you
A hug is just a hug; until you find the one you're always thinking of
A kiss is just a kiss; until you find the one you love
You're the queen in the kingdom of my heart
You'll reign there forever; you have from the start
