For Art's Sake Poem by Mark Arvizu

For Art's Sake

A child once you're terrible
The damage you did you're forgettable
Just a phase you went through
Was all of it true?

Should you suffer for
What's art and more
To stretch the bounds
Of things they won't perceive
For ages
When you burn your senses
To see the light
