For Belinda Poem by Wheeler Rose

For Belinda

Spring has sprung!
Languid slumber gently flung
Oft drifting heart and snowbound mind
Persistent nature doth remind
That all things new and all things old
Nudged gently by creation bold
Will be reshaped, will be enhanced
By suns basking warmth romanced
Met anew with force and grace
To greet God's warm and fierce embrace
To trust, to know, to take the chance
To love again, that our souls may dance
Despite our fears despite our reason
We tenderly embrace the season

You must have cared for Belinda a lot to cause you to wax into poetry. I presume we may see more of your talent. Read mine - The Bloom of Youth - Adeline
