For Mothers Poem by tomisin eshton

For Mothers

carried me for nine months.
in you i performed different stunts,
what you te I ate,
what you drank I drank.
this process we follow through,
till the tine of delivery.
a period of no fun
but the end brings joy.
with thy breast;
thou feed me,
till I made funny noise
which signifies, I am full.
like a bed your back was
for good three months
even more, till I could walk;
there I slept whenever we go out.
u carried me, u protected me
till I was old enough to understand the differences.
u cared and loved me,
u taught me certain things,
two fingers for a spank
that I understood.
when I did something wrong,
I was given a correction
I remember, because you told me,
my first words was mama
then followed I love you
although baby talk you u understood
