For My Strong Daffodil Poem by Adeline Yeo

For My Strong Daffodil

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
The attachment is strong,
And so are you.

Orchids are white,
Ghost ones are rare,
Your run is short,
And so is your hair.

Magnolia grows,
With buds like eggs,
A face is thin,
And so are your legs.

Sunflowers reach,
Up to the skies,
Flowers are yellow,
And so are your eyes,

Foxgloves in hedges,
Surround the farms,
Cells are fat,
And so are your arms.

Daisies are pretty,
Daffies have style,
Whiteness is dazzling,
And so is your smile,

Daffodil is beautiful,
Just like you.
