For Nthabiseng Poem by Nkululeko Zondi

For Nthabiseng

Rating: 4.5

As my glass is reaching it's full by day,
My heart is transitionally enlightened of your existence.
English proposes of us as half siblings,
However, I know no quarters and halves concerning affection.
Love but only advances in intensities and degrees.

Be that as it may, this piece is an assertion,
And not proof of my fondness and adoration.
It is but a reminiscent memory intended for you by me,
As worldly entities, debilitated, they become.

Receive and discern this as an advanced farewell
When I am no more abiding in this intertwined world of hell.
