For Poets, simple folk, kings and Presidents alike
They all must sleep and rest awhile
After they have run their earthly mile!
President George H. W. Bush! great man! great mind!
You were specially chosen to uplift mankind
You made a sterling contribution, changing the course of history
That was your blessed destiny!
In everything you set the bar so high
Always reaching for the sky!
Loving husband, faithful friend and family man!
Great President, diplomat, gentleman!
Now your task on earth is o'er
You'll take your place above
There you'll live forevermore
Sharing eternity with your one, true love.
