For Those Who Lost Loved Ones - Poem by Kiah Fisher

Everyday you wish it never happened
Everyday you won’t forget it
If you had arguments with those who passed
One day you’ll soon regret it.

If you grieve for them
It will make them stay
If you don’t, they’ll come back
Though stronger, another day.

If you see things oddly
You’ll know that they’re there
Watching over you
So do not despair.

If you should feel sad and lonely
Just call someone to accompany you
So you can talk
About what you’ve both been through.

I should know this
Because I lost people too
But I went ahead
And I pulled through.

So if you lost someone
And you don’t think you’ll pull through
Just look after your self
And very soon they’ll look after you
