For You 3 Poem by Maddy Adams

For You 3

My life isn't always fair.
I have parents that flip,
flaws I can't undo,
lies I tell.
But then I stop and think of you.
The way you make me feel.
The tingly feeling when you touch me.
How content I get when you kiss me.
The satisfaction I get from you,
And the craving I get for your company when you're not here.
The care and love in your fingertips when you hold my hand, play with my hair, stroke my cheek.
Your pain is mine, only one hundred times worse.
I just wish all the evil would leave you alone and only good could touch you.
I can never stop smiling when I'm around you.
And love, you're perfect to me.
So I mean it, every one of the 10,000 times I said I love you.
And, as my parents wonder, it's these reasons why I love you.
You're my best friend.
You're my shoulder to cry on.
My diary,
My love,
My boyfriend.

Always and forever yours.
