For You Poem by Andrea Scarpa

For You

Sometimes there's so much evil in this world
it's too much to take
I fight the feeling of disgust, my heart
seems bound to ache
I must be strong, hard as stone, there's
too much at stake

All I want is to protect you,
keep you safe in my arms love
and break what may hurt you
Take away all the pain in you
Feel that love I hope I'm worth of
Be an hero at least for you

I feel you walking inside my mind gracefully
you dissolve my pain
If I had to die I'd die for you, my death
wouldn't be in vain
this world gets crazier every day but for you
I must be sane

All I want is to protect you,
keep you safe in my arms love
and break what may hurt you
Take away all the pain in you
Feel that love I hope I'm worth of
Be an hero at least for you

The light in your eyes
could light up the whole universe
there will be no lies
sheer joy will take the place of these coulds one day
I'm waiting, I'm waiting, please come and save me
