For Your Destiny Poem by Farnaz Fari

For Your Destiny

Rating: 4.0

When this life comes to its end
Will we still be here my friend
Guessing as to the point of it all?

Or will we have reached
Our own earthly limits and
Understood for what we'd been called?

There are so many summers
~And as many winters
Before we return to the source.

So I hope, I pray
That it’ll not be wasted away
But that our time will be something fruitful

For even as I age
And find my intended way
Ever is this heart youthful.

The same for you my friend
May you grow in wisdom, in spontaneity,
And may you ever be ready
For that last summer of your destiny.
