For Your Eyes Only
Beneath the moon, beneath the sky,
A silent shadow passes by.
Through foreign streets and frozen stone,
He walks the darkest roads alone.
A secret waits, a deadly game,
Where trust and truth are not the same.
A whispered word, a coded sign,
Could draw the edge of death's design.
Across the waves, through wind and rain,
He follows danger once again.
With every step, with every mile,
He meets the darkness with a smile.
On mountain peaks of ice and snow,
He faces foes that will not show.
Yet when the odds are running high,
He never stops, he never lies.
For love may burn and bullets fly,
While danger waits beneath the sky.
And though the world may never know
The secrets only shadows show,
He guards the truth through every fight,
And carries on into the night.
For some things fade, and some things die—
But some are kept for your eyes only.
