Forever Poem by Katheryn Foley

Forever

I hate the way it has to be,
I can see you right in front of me,
Waiting for a chance to live,
with the one you love,
and to you I'd give,
my everything to,
just for you.

I look up and see you smile,
It makes me feel warm inside,
Burning an eternal flame,
My love for you I do proclaim,
To hold you in my arms forever,
As time may change we'll be together,
Always until the end

My eyes are growing weak,
My tongue is getting numb,
The voice inside my head keeps telling me I'm on my own.

Then I look up and see you smile,
It makes me feel warm inside,
Burning an eternal flame,
My love for you I do proclaim,
To hold you in my arms forever,
As time may change we'll be together,
Always until the end.
