Forever And Ever Poem by Dillon Keuthonymos Crawford

Forever And Ever

We sit softly
Surrounded by memories
Surrounded by those things,
That everyone holds so dear
Eyes of other couples
Lay down upon us
Whispers leave their lips
Entering anothers ears
They look over at me
Eyes, filled with disgust
A tear rolls down your cheek
You look at me with your false smile
My finger traces the track of your tear
Your head, nuzzles against it
Falling deep into thought
Words he spoke hurt you so deeply
But what can I say?
I don't want to be obvious
But it seems too late
You look at me
Those gorgeous brown eyes
My breath
Taken
The soft ray of sunshine dancing
Over the face of beauty
Captivated by your peace
You look at me with that look
As if to say
'Thank you for loving me...'
All I can do is lean forward
Kiss your cheek softly
As if to say...
'Forever and ever Babe....forever and ever...'
