Forevermore - Poem by Jacquelynn Bobbs

Through the class
To the back
There is glass
Nearly black
If you dust
And turn it to you
In the brush
A bird so blue
Though so bright
His eyes said it all
The paper so tight
Now ready to fall
Trapped to stay
Bolted to the floor
You tell him to fly away
Told from the core
You freed him from the doubt
To fly forevermore
