Forget The Darkness



i’ve awoken from another passing dream

a false pretense of the lies i’ve seen

the words i wished to believe were true

so easy to forget the darkness in you

but i’ve marked every scar with my eyes

and i’ve scarred every day i denied

that what was could never ever be

all alone i’ve found and lost eternity
