Rebecca Bell

Forget You - Poem by Rebecca Bell

I just want to cry every time I see your face
Why do you always show up in the familiar places?

I want to stop thinking of the time we spent together
I want to keep believing that splitting up was for the better

I’m tired of crying and I want to be alone
Whenever we talk I speak in a very angry tone

I need to know if you are in my life or out
Because holding on is not what I’m really about

I need to let go and you are really no help
Just let go with me and it will stop us from the pain that we dwell
