Forgetting Hard Poem by Venessa Glover

Forgetting Hard

Memories come back.
Unwelcome dreams.
Thoughts so forgotting.
They barely exist.
New happy moments form.
Old ones open doors.
That are meant to stay close.
No one want to know the pain.
That lies in the hearts of the lost.
It's easy to remember.
Forgetting the hard part
