Forgiven Poem by Susan Vredevoogd

Forgiven

Rating: 5.0

You all my all, my everything.
You make the sun shine, and birds sing.
You are the beauty of the world.
You are my Savior, and my Lord.
A life of sin is what I had,
But you looked at me and not the bad.
You were patient and waited for me
To know how life with you would be.
When I thought I could no nowhere,
I dropped down to my knees in prayer...
"Lord, I know that I have sinned,
Now I ask for your forgiveness.
A perfect life I have not lived,
But I ask for your forgiveness.
I'll do my best to serve you right,
Do my best to be your servant,"
Then inside my heart I felt a light,
Yes, I felt his forgiveness.
