Forgiven Little, Love Little (Luke 7: 46-47) Poem by Don Nguyen

Forgiven Little, Love Little (Luke 7: 46-47)

Lord, you have said to me to love much to be forgiven much;
I now say if I think I have no need for forgiveness, I have not loved you at all:
Forgiven little, love little.
I have need for your love, Lord; more so I have need for your forgiveness,
For the guilt of hurting you is piercing my heart,
Hindering me from feeling your love.
Oh Lord, I now bring you Christ crucified,
Who now lives in me
To beg for your mercy,
For sinner like me and many others.
I bring now to you all the sins of the world,
Mine included;
I bring now to you also
All the love of the world,
Combined and multiplied,
With infinity
For our redemption.
Amen
