Forgiven Nor Forgotten Poem by Matthew Edan Oliver Palma

Forgiven Nor Forgotten

Rating: 5.0

I was hoping that I had forgotten - forgotten the hurts and aches.
I was hoping I have forgiven - forgiven you for causing my pain.
but alas time proves itself useless...
as my heart is still left so broken...

I was wishing that I had forgotten - forgotten my foolish mistakes.
I was wishing that I had forgiven - forgiven myself for this rain.
but alas time proves itself senseless...
as my mind still holds words unspoken...
