Forgiveness I Poem by Fiona Pimentel

Forgiveness I

Not seven,
But seventy-seven times,
We are told;
An eternity of times.

There is nothing you can do,
To make amends.

Like love,
Forgiveness cannot be earned,
Or bought,
Only freely given,
Though undeserved.
