Forgotten Poem by Maxinne Morris

Forgotten

"I want you" softly whispered.
"Yours I'll be", she said.
Two arms around her circled
And carried her to bed.
God looked down and cried
For them.
Alas life can be cruel.
Two wrongly joined lovers
Make one forgotten fool.
