Forgotten Poem by Charlie Hastings

Forgotten

an eternal wish in the hunt
bursting without hope
positive and then negative
the cup overflows
from there, they emerge
nothing and then everything
a spade, diamond and club
silence creeps into fear
in all types of medium and media
we look again
and see our rival
standing there
arms like bamboo
a the grin of a beast
i can be nothing but vocal
everything erased
not a single thought
in all years
a dozen, a hundred or a million
did I see there
a person without duty
a person
i can only call a monster
