Forgotten Soul... Poem by Derry Dose

Forgotten Soul...

Can you hug the forgotten soul,
He is lonely, he is all alone,
Someone came and someone was gone,
He was there all along,
No hug, no cheers,
Not even a single peer,
He was there for someone to call,
He lives like a lifeless doll,
From Not even a shoulder to cry,
He is always the one to try,
He is just a forgotten soul,
He is there all along,
He is there all alone,

Once he saw a person walk,
He got cheered as he talked,
For the first time he was happy,
Now he has someone to see,
Time soon went and went and went,
The person got tired of his scent,
He just walked and walked and walked,
No one knows where he stopped,
The forgotten soul was all alone,
All these days he had another soul,
But now he is all alone,
He just stands on his gates,
Waiting for someone's gaze,
But the truth is always true,
He is just a forgotten tool,
He is like a forgotten fool,
He is just all alone,
He is there all along,
Can you hug the forgotten soul?
