Forgotten Thought Poem by Adrian Mendez

Forgotten Thought

It is but a Whisper this Thought I have,
It flows through me like a River Stream,
So Silently, So Quietly.

This Thought completes my Empty Words,
It fills the Void of Loneliness.
And so it Passes like a Breeze,
Leaving but a Cold Regret.

The yearn to feel my Hearts Embrace,
To know I Care enough to Care,
To Hear the Sound my Soul creates,
As it Speaks its Words so Clear.

But now its Gone and Left Behind,
Now an Empty Hollow Past,
A Whisper Long Forgotten,
A Thought that Never Grew,
A Thought that Never Started.
