Forgotten words of promises
Lost but once were said
Words of somewhat hope
Those things she said I read
Perhaps they were true words
The time that they were said
Those times are now have gone
A memory now instead
Forgotten words of promises
Lifted me up high
And made my heart alive for her
I cannot this deny

Branded in my heart
It's where they'll stay forever
