Found A Friend Poem by Jamie Loughlin

Found A Friend

Rating: 5.0

I found a friend in myself today
They were buried deep.
I had to dig them out somehow
So I went to sleep.

We talked for a while in my dreams
and then I had to admit.
Myself and my sense of self
are as similar as it can get.

I found a lot in common with me
And before I bid them good night
I told them that I've missed them well
even when they're out of sight.
