Fox Poem by Clive Culverhouse

Fox

Rating: 5.0

quick sight… caught
a creamy, frothy tail
skulking behind bins
caramel
this creeping tod
wry trickery, claw
prowl and sly, brazen
he's getting too brave
soon…
a knock on the door

Again on PoetrySoup 'Really enjoyed this Clive. Great writing. I love, ‘ a creamy frothy tail' ‘ caramel'. You have described the fox perfectly.'

I put this on PoetrySoup, here's a comment 'I rather like the image you created of the fox--quick...frothy tail. I assume the fox was the one opening the door...clever indeed.'
