Fragments Of A Journey Poem by Nayeem Wani

Fragments Of A Journey

Walked a mile with a smile,
Carrying some untold stories.

Some walks
Bring tiredness; some teach lessons.

Some talks
Are meaningful, while others are meaningless.

Some wounds
Are mine, and some are caused by others.

Some sounds
Irritate, while some bring peace.

Some silences
Speak volumes, while some remain silent.

Some expressions
Say little; others speak a lot.

Some friendships
Were bound by time, while a few are limitless.

Then the road ended.
I returned with some memories and left a few behind.
