Fragments Of Light Poem by SALIH ALKHUNAIZI

Fragments Of Light

I
The imagination is a paper
The pulse is a pen dancing in the dark

II
I'm looking for light
For absolute stillness
For the past on the same paths
For the places untrodden by looks
For the moments swinging between us

III
Like an unarmed soldier the existence is

IV
Why the alphabet can't be like clouds in the Stormy seasons?

V
The fading looks of lovers are a deserted bridge!

VI
The windows between us are witnesses on
The heart throbbing with rain!

VII
Oh love! you come from solitude.
Will I be lonesome without feelings?

VIII
Looking at her eyes
as windows closed by infidelity

IX
The poet whose ego is inflated
doesn't feel the shadowy boughs around.
The poet whose ego is overflowing
Becomes another person.
The poet who reads himself as a legend
didn't practice the art of drowning, yet!

X
When we were children,
I gave you a watch.
I didn't realize that emotions would grow up

XI
'I got tired of buying poems from supermarkets,
Small stores, and street vendors, ' he says,
remembering the last taste of canned poem.
Poets! When are you going to cook the language well?

XII
Why cannot the religions be mirrors facing walls?

XIII
When will the silence play the eternal symphony?
